Obsession - beauty in beads

Beading is my Obsession. What started out as a desire to restring a crystal necklace that snapped, has turned into a life changing experience for me.

Am I a true obssessive? I do fixate, I cannot settle with just one thing, I have lots of that one thing. Six cats, a collection of Guinea Fowl ornaments, pictures, feathers, etc. A cupboard full of only black clothes. Shoes, sometimes two pairs of the same shoe. Silver Jewellery, ONLY SILVER, tons of it - including a charm bracelet that weighs a kilo, and thirty silver rings. It took me ages every morning to put it all on, in a certain order. People noticed my jewellery, but missed ME! Then the crystals changed my life.
I learnt the basics of Jewellery making, and before I knew it, I had made watches, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets in endless colours and designs, but being a little obsessive, I made them up in sets! Every last cent goes into buying beads I want to work into a theme, and the Internet has become USEFUL! I wake up at 4.30 am so that I can have “Quality” time with my Beads before I leave for work, so when I get home I can finish making the piece I can see in my mind. This is not terrible. This is where I should have been forever, instead of obsessing over things that I could never change.
